Merenda is a successful design manufacturing company with over 40 years of market expertise, is now seeking to hire an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join the business and be part of the team that will bring their strategic vision to reality. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will have responsibility for the commercial growth of the company, and the development of key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Merenda is based in County Leitrim and has a strong UK and Ireland client base. The dedicated team continue to deliver excellent customer service, manufacturing to the highest standards, and operate with partners to ensure alignment to their client values and competitive pricing and expertise in this sector. ABOUT THE ROLE
You will play an integral role within the Sales Department, with responsibility for identifying and developing business opportunities across Ireland and the UK. You will have a strategic and analytical mindset, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. You will bring a growth mindset and be a real team player, valuing the contribution and collaboration of the team to create outstanding products for the market.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Senior Sales Executive will have responsibility for profitable management of projects and contracts, from inception to completion. Ultimately, you will be building profitable customer relationships, scaling and strategizing to drive sales, revenue and profitability for the organisation.
Generate target turnover per month and per annum to achieve target gross margin
Maintain sales pipeline using CRM and planning boards
Develop and drive business development strategies
Build target run rates for the monthly order book
Generate leads and meet conversion targets
Manage key accounts
Manage customer interactions and other customer facing activities
Engage, manage and recruit your sales team for business units
Create the sales channel strategy and implement relevant updates and changes
Manage sales team meetings and regularly update the MD on sales updates

Support and drive good interpersonal relations across the team and the various stakeholders in the business

Champion compliance, Health and Safety, risk, data protection, security standards and compliance within the sales team. Ensure all direct reports are aware of relevant policies and standards, including process for reporting any breaches in data protection, Health & Safety, risk or compliance.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Proven ability to manage and deliver sales strategies with a track record of driving sales, revenue and profitability.
Strong sales experience (8+ years’) and excellent analytical and conceptual skills
Be results oriented and personally driven to succeed.
Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Excellent Communication and Influencing skills.
Proven capability of building strong and effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
