About Us:

Building on this success, to enable a further growth period, we now wish to appoint a dedicated inhouse specialist who will lead the Business Development function and contribute to the achievement of our strategic objectives.   This senior position will enable the business to deliver our ambitious plans to scale across our defined sectors and specialisms.


About You:

It will be essential that you are an experienced Specialist in developing business opportunities and engaging with our client base across all sectors, sharing relevant insights and gaining a deep understanding as to their specific needs as a business. You will be confident in developing relationships with key business partners and have proven capability of working with a specialist team, ideally with a similar business model to the professional services sector.


You will be an innovator and creative thinker, responsible for lead generation and be motivated by achieving targets and bringing real commercial value to the business. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribution to our strategic and commercial strategy and become part of our ambitious and dynamic team. You will ensure Voltedge Management is the HR Business Partner of choice such as engaging with our existing strategic partnerships like IDA and Enterprise Ireland and working with their companies who are scaling and entering global markets, as well as supporting inbound businesses setting up in Ireland,

You will identify new ways to engage with our target audience, effectively and meaningfully communicating why Voltedge Management is the HR Business Partner to work with. Working closely with our expert team of professionals across all areas of Human Resources Management, you will grow your knowledge and understanding of our methodology and service offerings.

Here is some additional information on the specific areas you will have responsibility for.


Business Development Activities

  • Maximise our existing client base by developing a business development strategy to ensure that Voltedge is both enhancing and further developing services to our current client base.

  • Analyse and target potential Foreign Direct Investment companies and develop our partnership further with the IDA to increase our reach in the range of companies they are bringing into Ireland.

  • Further develop and implement our strategic partnership with Enterprise Ireland to further support Irish companies who may be preparing for funding or developing growth and expansion plans post investment, particularly as they enter new global markets.

  • Using our newly implemented ERC system, implement and manage our enhanced sales processes and pipeline tracking systems to increase personal accountability, improve forecasting, and track performance and identify areas for particular investment.

  • Research and develop marketing opportunities, understanding client requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's goals

     

Skills and Experience required to be successful in this role:

  • You will ideally have a minimum of 5 years in a B2B business development environment. Professional Services and SME experience will be an advantage.

  • Demonstrate the ability and have proven success in identifying new target markets for growth and expansion. 

  • Significant experience building out a sales and business growth strategy and a track record of implementing  an operational plan with KPI’s and metrics for growth.

  • Leverage all marketing and social media channels to support your BD campaigns.

  • Have expert working knowledge of Microsoft packages, CRM systems (Odoo) and website editing software.

  • Be an excellent communicator, fluent writing skills in English with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong project management and organisational skills.

  • You will have a 3rd level qualification in Business, Communications, Marketing or similar.

 

This role is ideally a full time position, however we are open to considering part time/flexible working for the right candidate profile.
