About the role

We are looking for a Director of Solution & Customer Success Engineering to lead our global teams of solution engineers (pre-sales) and customer success engineers (post sales). Our teams work with enterprise customers and our go-to-market partners (MSPs, Services Delivery Consultancies, and Resellers) to deliver our Cyber Asset Management solutions across hybrid cloud environments. The Director should be a hands-on leader by example, bringing extensive experience and a desire to coach and mentor the extended teams.

 

Working closely with our sales, customer success, product and support teams, the Director will seek to implement best practices throughout the customer lifecycle, from initial pre-sales engagement through onboarding and expansion. Solution engineers, and customer success engineers, will also closely collaborate on partner onboarding and enablement / training efforts, where the Director will similarly strive to implement best practices across the teams.


Key Responsibilities  

  • Work closely with VP WW Sales and Director of Customer Success to execute on overall objectives and targets for the teams.
  • Demonstrate leadership and emphasize continuous development of talented solution and customer success engineers to ensure a highly collaborative and effective team.
  • Coach and mentor through hands-on efforts with customers and partners to discover and implement best practices across the team.
  • Serve as a customer and partner advocate within CloudSphere in support of the solution and customer success engineers and broader sales organization.
  • Ensure excellent communication from the field to other groups inside CloudSphere (product, support, engineering), while also ensuring close collaboration and communication with the field teams.
  • Instill a ‘continuous improvement’ culture within the teams to always seek out opportunities to improve, while encouraging leadership within members of the team.
  • Establish objectives and responsibilities for the team that demonstrate opportunities for individual achievement and career development.
  • Travel is expected to meet with key partners and support regional efforts.

  • Hands-on experience configuring, installing, deploying, managing and supporting datacenter and cloud related technologies.
  • Professional experience should include:
  • Leadership of pre-sales engineering team
  • Hiring manager experience
  • Preferred experience:
  • Data center migration, transformation or modernization projects
  • Security domain experience
  • Experience with BI (business intelligence) and data analytics
  • Experience working in an early stage company preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Location

This role is fully remote with travel required to clients, partners and events. We are open to applications from UK, Ireland and USA.
