Skills and Experience

Your arsenal of technical skills should include the following: 

• 2-3 years of commercial experience in full-stack development

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP

• Demonstrated expertise in WordPress

• Experience with API integrations and automation techniques

• Familiarity with Zapier or similar automation tools

• A keen interest in emerging technologies and programming languages

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a flair for tackling complex technical challenges

Your Role

As an integral member of our Tech Design & Development team, you'll have the opportunity to leave your mark on a diverse range of projects. You'll be instrumental in integrating our CRM (HubSpot), payment systems (Paypal, Stripe), Learning Management System, and web-based examination solutions with our website and accounting system (Xero). This will involve building innovative automation and APIs that will transform the way we operate.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and developing scalable software product solutions

• Writing clean, efficient code for the front and back end

• Collaborating with our UX design team to deliver stunning web design solutions

• Developing and managing robust databases and applications

• Building robust API integrations

• Ensuring software responsiveness and efficiency through rigorous testing

• Troubleshooting and resolving bugs and coding issues

• Crafting detailed, clear technical documentation

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven track record in completing complex technical projects

• Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development

• Familiarity with common tech stacks

• Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML, JavaScript)

• Experience with back-end languages (PHP, Python) and JavaScript frameworks

• Expertise in databases, web servers, and a solid understanding of UX

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and a natural curiosity

• The ability to thrive and adapt in a dynamic startup environment

• The capacity to work independently, demonstrating high levels of organization

• A degree or professional certification in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field
