Medmark Role Overview

Due to exciting growth of the business, we are interested in hearing from all occupational health specialists or those training to be specialists to join our supportive team.  Medmark has a national network of surgeries where the full range of OH services are provided, delivered by a multidisciplinary team of occupational physicians, occupational health advisers and administrative support.

1. We are seeking full or part time Occupational Health Physicians in Dublin City, North Dublin, and Limerick ideally on the specialist register. We are especially interesting in hearing from those with Healthcare experience, although this is not essential.

2. We would also like to hear from those in training who might not yet be fully qualified but have an interest in working in occupational health.

The Role

·         Conduct a range of fitness assessments including pre-employment and fitness to work

·         Report on fitness to work for standard and specialised roles

·         Make recommendations on patients return to work capability

·         Liaise with our clients on fitness to work queries

·         Support vaccination programmes when required  

·         Provide best in class care and service to our clients

·         Support health surveillance programmes

·         Support wellness programme when required

·         Support the development of service delivery and related policies and procedures

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with any of the following:

·           LFOM

·           MFOM

·           A doctor who is undertaking OH training through ICGP or elsewhere

Interested candidates currently outside Ireland will need an appropriate work permit and IMC registration.

In addition to the general requirements outlined above, we are also interested in recruiting a senior OH physician with Healthcare experience, to help support the delivery of services to our healthcare clients.
