We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and creative individual to join our team and operate very much as a Senior HR Professional, supporting management and employees and implementing best in class HR practices and contributing to the Crown Roofing & Cladding culture and future growth.

What will you be doing?
You will partner closely with the management team being their main point of contact for all HR related matters
You will act as an ally, advisor and advocate for our staff members
Responsible for the development and ongoing monitoring of HR policies, processes and procedures that will promote optimum management and employee satisfaction in compliance with all relevant legislation
Ownership of the employee experience for all leaves of absence, and activity through the company HRIS BambooHR
You will add to the culture here with new ideas and initiatives
Maintaining HRIS with new and existing employee contact information and employment details, developing relevant reports for management and Board meetings.
Spearheading recruitment campaigns from job description to interviewing and hiring
Development of improved onboarding and offboarding routines, live in person and electronically through HRIS
Coordinating new hire orientations – improving and updating this process continually
Supporting mangers to operate meaningful performance management meetings with staff that are effective in their goal setting and alignment with business goals as well as ensuring there is timely feedback on progress
Training: working with managers to develop training plans for all staff and managing the annual training budget and planning
Education / Experience/Minimum requirements for the Role:
A relevant HR qualification with at least 3+ years proven experience working in HR in a busy operational environment is essential
Experience in working in a small HR team and supporting team colleagues to growth and develop their HR careers
A confident team player who is also well capable of working independently and on his/her own initiative
Proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Articulate with excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills
Has the ability to transform proposals and ideas into practical reality
Proven track record of delivering and leading out on key HR projects including change programmes and employee engagement pieces
This role is offered on a part-time or full-time basis
