As Bewley’s embarks on the development of a different and better Bewley’s brand positioning and a revitalization of the existing business, we are now seeking to recruit the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

 

This is a permanent role and based out of our Northern Cross Office in Malahide Road, Dublin.


The CEO will oversee the Irish Division and the leadership of the ~160-person strong team.  

 

Reporting to the Chair of the Board, they will be responsible for the delivery of two key components:

  1. Revitalizing and profitably growing the Bewley’s consumer brand in a renewed direction,

  2. Achieving sustained sales and profit growth in our well-established wholesale B2B business.

 

The role requires exceptional leadership capability; to ensure successful implementation of the new business strategy bringing key experience to effectively navigate change. 

 

We want to hear from visionary thinkers and inspiriting leaders with strong alignment with the Bewley's Core Values and 

 

  • proven experience in a CEO or General Manager role within a consumer-branded business.

  • demonstrated success in profitable brand development, incorporating consumer insights, innovation, and operational rollout.

  • In-depth expertise in specific channels such as retail, high-street foodservice operations, grocery, online, or licensing/franchising.

  • Familiarity with the nuances and dynamics of a family-owned business.

  • Experience working with long-established Irish brands and an understanding of the cultural significance and legacy involved.

  • A track record in leading business transformation and fostering culture change.
